Day 1 San Francisco

Today the adventure began. We drove through the Presidio which was our first assignment and where Mary was born. We got to go into the house on post where we lived which is now a doctor's office. It was all just the same for the most part. We even found where we had engraved our names under the ledge of the marble mantel in the living room. We had to leave our legacy some how. Then we drove through town and found our favorite restaurant called the Pacific Cafe. We were so happy to see that it was still open. They're celebrating something like 36 years this year. Then we drove over the Golden Gate Bridge and finished the day at Fisherman's Wharf and Ghiardelli Chocolate. Trip planning filled the night. Pictures to follow.
