Day 7: Zion National Park, a big day

We started off the day at the cheerful bus stop! (hungry for adventure)

Katherine was a bit perturbed about the fact that the trail we were hiking was "strenuous" and that it contained sheer cliff edges.

We learned not to feed the animals (rabid squirrels) they can cause severe damage to hands. The culprit running away after an attack. (just kidding)

Mary showing her aboriginal survival skills. More aboriginal survival

We found this guy sunbathing on a wood post, he was not in any hurry to go anywhere. (Becca wanted to poke him)

Is this an excited face or what?...once Katherine saw the trail, the displeasure showed on her face.

Becca. Is. Legit.
end of story.

Katherine and Mary happily exploring a cave, Mary dissapears into the crevice and Katherine attempts to get down.

Chipmunk!!! Didn't seem to be as ferocious as the squirrels.

This was the path out to Angel's Landing.
This is the trail Mary and Dad hiked up to get to the top.

We were quite pleased with how we did.
The Valley from the top. The views were gorgeous.

This was a series of about 10 switchbacks called Willy's Wiggles. Becca was so happy to get down the mountain. She beat us all down. I can't imagine how they build some of this path.
 Our "self timer" family picture:)
Mary disappeared without anyone knowing (na, she took the picture)
"Mary, the humble pack mule". (Ain't she so pitiful? Hint, she wanted the backpack to keep warm.
 "Becca, the cave dweller"
These pictures pretty much speak for themselves.
